Digestive Discomfort
There are so great options with natural supplements to help people with their health and wellness goals. Over the years I have added quite a few products to my arsenal that I think can be very beneficial for dieters!

If you are not drinking at least 64 oz ( or 4 bottles of water) you can definitely bind yourself up! There is fiber in at ITG food items so we need to make sure you stay hydrated first and foremost!
- If you are taking any fiber powders from before you started our program (Psyllium Husk powder, Benefiber, FiberCon, MiraLax, Ect,), your body might not need this additional fiber now since you are getting plenty from our ITG foods so be sure to mention this to your coach

- For Digestive Relief - ITG Colon LAX: This product may be helpful for Improving bowel movements/constipation Cleansing and detoxifying bowels.

Magnesium hydroxide is a well-known ingredient in laxative and antacid formulas. It works by osmosis which draws water from surrounding tissues to the intestines. This local increase of water not only softens the feces, but actually increases the volume of the feces, which promotes intestinal motility.
Triphala is one of the most widely used botanical formulas in Ayurvedic medicine for gastrointestinal health, including promoting smooth functioning of the bowels and reliving constipation.

- For immediate relief: Traditional Medicinal Organic Smooth Move Tea

This is a stimulant and will give you release quickly. Be careful not to overdo this tea since it can cause stomach irritations if you take too much in a short amount of time. Use once every 2-3 days as needed!

For Immediate Relief: Magnesium (Citrate, Glycinate, Chelated, Malate or Taurate
This is a stimulant and will give you release quickly. You can take 200 - 400MG at night before bed for morning relief. Remember, you alrady take Magnesium with the Cal/Mag from the ITG required vitamins so, if you start to experience loose stools, stop taking the magnesium.

- For Natural Relief: Fiber (Acacia or Inulin)

This is a slower working laxative that also is a pre biotic fiber! Very gentle on the stomach and can help ease some discomfort when constipated. Any of the two types of fiber work since they are gentle and ARE NOT STIMULANTS!

For Natural Relief: MiraLAX (Unflavored, unsweetened powder)
This is a slow working osmotic laxative. This means it uses your bodies own water to help move the bowel movement along. Do not use more than 7 days straight and drink more than the 64oz of water that is required! If you are not hydrated, this can cause digestive discomfort when taken.

2. Diarrhea
Things To Remember:
- This may occur when first starting out diet program since the body does go through a detoxification process when you first start. If this occurs, stop taking your calcium magnesium vitamin first ( it's the white capsule) and increase your water intake
- If you have any cheats on the diet (high carb, sugary items or greasy foods) it can give you this reaction also.
- You need to stay hydrated if this starts to reoccur! When you expel, it isn't just water you are losing!

Rehydrate With Nuun Tablets (To rebalance your electrolytes and keep you hydrated)
These are effervescent tablets that you can drop in water. This is a good vitamin to take if you if you do a lot of cardiovascular workouts OR need to replenish electrolyte levels. Also a good replacement for Gatorade or Powerade!

- Rebalance your digestive Track With Terry Naturally Probiotics (To rebalance your good and bad bacteria)
This probiotic in particular is great for loose bowel movements. It will take 2-3 days before you notice a difference with your bowel movements. PLEASE DISUCSS WITH ME BEFORE STARTING! this will also help with the abosrbtion of nurtients.
