One of the easiest and biggest mistakes to make when dieting is lowering your calorie intake to less than the recommended 950-1200 calories set by the ITG Diet. Starving your body does have a temporary affect on the body for weight loss but, if is actually more harmful to your weight loss progress than cheating on the program!  When your body enters starvation mode, it is actually going to start to feed off your muscle and produce more fat, which is the complete opposite affect that most people want or expect! The worst of the affects are a loss of muscle, production of more fat and a slower metabolism!
